The International Festival of Symphonic Music of El Djem will take place from July 5 to August 5 with the main patron of the International Banque Union (UIB).
Eleven Tunisian and international evenings are on the program for this thirty-sixth edition of the festival. The opening and fence of the festival will be in the colors of Austria, a country which, for decades, is the most artistic partner in view of this event.
It is the wand of the Maestro Manfred Müssauer which will direct the Tunis Opera Symphony Orchestra, on July 5, when the festival was opened. Entitled “Salut de Vienne”, this first evening will see the participation of the Soprano Nesrine Mahbouli and the tenor Hans Georg Priese.
The festival closing evening will take place, a month later, on August 5 and will be an opportunity to find the Vienna Opera Bal orchestra which will be led by Laszlo Gyüker. Entitled “Viennese evening”, this concert will highlight the Soprano Ilona Reveskaya and the mezzo-soprano Martha Hirschmann.
On the program, Mozart, Strauss, Offenbach, Stoltz and all the musical flavors of Austria.
