18 days after the start of demonstrations in Egypt, the people can scream victory! The now ex-Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak presented his resignation and it is now to the army that power returns in this delicate period that the country is going through.

This resignation had been in the air since Thursday evening but Mubarak took the whole world against herds with a completely unexpected speech in which he persisted and signed that he would not leave power until next September. Today, now the vice-president, Omar Soulaymane announces the resignation of Mubarak and the handover of his power to the army. It is nevertheless not a coup. The army, as it was the case in Tunisia, will be there to ensure that the voice of the people is well understood.

The millions of Egyptians present in the Place de la Liberation in Cairo are with angels. Scenes of enormous joy, incredible celebrations and tears of joy of millions of Egyptians who stood up to the one who reigned without sharing for 30 years on Egypt.
