Ons Jabeur qualified, today, in the quarterfinals of the Nottingham 250 tournament following his victory against the Czech Linda Fruhvirtova, as part of the 2nd round.
After the postponement of the match yesterday, scheduled for the rain yesterday, Ons Jabeur, 10th in the world faced today, the Czech Linda Fruhvirtova, classified 139th WTA which she beat in two sets (6-2, 6-1) in a match once again suspended because of the bad weather.
Upon recovery while Jabeur led a set at zero (6-2), she won the second set 6-1.
Thanks to this success, Ons Jabeur qualifies in the quarterfinals and will face another Czech, namely Karolina Pliskova, 50th in the WTA and 32 -year -old ranking.
In the 1st round, Ons Jabeur had eliminated Colombian Maria Camila Osorio Serrano, 81st WTA in two sets (6-2, 6-3).
