Last night, the agents of the National Guard in faction in front of the seat of the Medenine district were alerted by a shot from the office of the chief of said district. When they arrived on the spot, their leader was lifeless, bathed in his blood, a revolver by his side.
According to the TAP which reports the information, shortly before, around 6 p.m., the victim had ordered his subordinates to leave the building and go to the guard reinforcement in front of the siege. The drama apparently took place around 7:50 p.m. We still do not know the reasons for this gesture, nor if it is a crime or really a suicide.
The investigation started by local judicial authorities and the specialized technical and scientific surveys brigades will determine the exact circumstances of this drama.
