The Libyan Tripoli capital comes back to chaos. Armed clashes took place yesterday on Thursday second day of Eid.
According to the site “Libyaakhbar”, the amusement park on Omar Mokhtar street was evacuated following an exchange of sorts between rival forces.
In this tense context, citizens have been called upon to avoid tension areas and only come out for necessary reasons.
“Videos show citizens in a panic in the amusement park in the center of Tripoli, after the triggering of clashes before its evacuation,” reports the same source.
Tensions persist in Libya between armed groups. However, the Libyan protagonists tried to regain language for possible reunification of the country, split between two governments which compete for legitimacy.
