The Iranian ambassador to Tunisia, Masoud Husseiniyan, returned this Monday, April 15, 2024 to the Iranian attack on Israel on Monday.
In a statement to Mosaic FM, he said it was unlikely that the Zionist entity launched a new military climbing after the Iranian response to the strikes against the consular section inside the Iranian embassy in Damascus, providing that the response would be limited because it fears an expansion of war, according to her.
He also pointed out that his country’s response would be stronger and more severe than the attack by drones and missiles against the Zionist entity.
“In my opinion, the answer will be limited because they fear an expansion of war … We have warned that our response would be more severe than the first … and our response will be more severe if Israel is renewing military operations,” he threatened.
He stressed that Iran has sophisticated weapons, and that the weapons used in response to Israeli aggression represent only part of the military capacities it has.
“You know all the sophisticated weapons that we have used in this response, they are all local, after the economic and military blockade imposed on Iran for 40 years … and this operation was only a small demonstration of the military capacities that we have,” he added.
By launching around 200 suicide rockets and drones against Israeli targets, Iran has destroyed two important military sites, announced Tehran.
During the night of Saturday to Sunday, Iran launched a drone attack towards Israel, leading to the closure of air spaces in the region. The United States has expressed support to Israel in the face of this climbing, against a background of persistent tensions between the two countries.
