It has become like a tradition: every Friday (or almost) an event animates avenue Habib Bourguiba de Tunis.

Today, Friday, April 29, 2011, the Islamists took possession of the Tunisian “Champs-Elys” to protest against the declaration of a Bizerte Arabic teacher.

Information taken, it turned out that two weeks ago Abdelhamid El Houli, a teacher at Habib Haddad high school, gave his 8th year students as subject: “What is the best known personality in history”. One of his students responded to the subject Mohammed (PSL). What the teacher replied, “Who is he?” If he had lived in our time, he would have been condemned for several misdeeds including that of having married several women, including a six -year -old girl! ”. The teenager reported the thing to her parents. And, thread by needle, the information circulated in all bizerte and throughout the country, forcing the professor to flee the city and the Islamists to demonstrate on the avenue.

The demonstration in the slogan of “Lâ Ilâha Ill Allah, Muhammad Rasûlu-Llâhi” (there is no god that Allah and Mohammed is his prophet), arrived by the avenue de Paris to settle on Avenue Habib Bourguiba. It should be noted that a security device, made up of several police cars and many BOPs, has been quickly set up.
