Sfax penitentiary officials and agents are fed up, apparently, information conveyed in recent times by the various satellite channels showing the escapes that multiply these days, reports the TAP agency.
Two prisons, from Kasserine and Gafsa in this case, have seen a significant number of their residents, no less than 800, take the tangent. Not to mention the attempts that have been aborted in four other penitentiary institutions, the last of which is the attempted escape in Borj Erroumi of yesterday!
In any event, these agents protest against the TV channels, which have not stopped disseminating the disorders shaking the prisons, which had the effect of encouraging other prisoners to feel galvanized and to try their luck to regain freedom, if only ephemeral.
The officials, unhappy, did not fail to build us on the number of prisoners who, according to the same source, is around twenty thousand eight hundred (20,800) held, sheltered by twenty-seven (27) establishments. Establishments that all have televisions.
