Hope appears on this FIFA list after a new decision which deprives it of recruiting players for three Mercato periods from July 3, 2024.
This prohibition follows an obligation imposed by the dispute settlement chamber to the club administration to pay around 400,000 dollars, the equivalent of 1.2 million Tunisian dinars, to the Libyan player Hamdou El Houni.
The Legal Esperance Legal Committee of Tunis should appeal this decision before the Sports Arbitral Tribunal (CAS).
It should be noted that the update list of Tunisian clubs prohibited from transfers, published today by FIFA includes ouze Tunisian clubs prohibited from recruitment.
These are the African club (7 files), the Sports Etoile du Sahel (5 files), the CS Chebba (4 files), the Olympique de Béja (2 files), the US Monastir (2 files), the US Tataouine (2 files), US Ben Guerdane (1 file), ES Métlaoui (1 file), AS Rejiche (1 file) file), from AS Soliman (1 file), Hope ST (1 file) and Sfaxian CS (1 file).
