An important documentary exhibition on relations between Finland and the Maghreb countries is currently visible at the City of Culture.

The traveling exhibition “Relations between Finland and the Maghreb” was inaugurated on Friday November 3 at Macam, at the Cité de la Culture. This exhibition will then visit several Tunisian cities.

Ascent on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Finland and the Maghreb countries, the exhibition brings together many documents.

Produced by Jussi Nuorta and Päivi Happonen, two officials from the Finland Archives Directorate, this exhibition offers a panorama of cooperation in this Nordic country with the Maghreb.

The event was enriched by an exhibition in the exhibition. Indeed, the artist Dora Dalila Cheffi presents in this context, several of his recent plastic works. This artist born in Finland, currently lives in Tunisia where she exhibits regularly.

In addition, several previous traces of Finnish artists and creators are also on the agenda of this event.

Indeed, cultural relationships between Tunisia and Finland are characterized by their continuity and have many beacons. The poetry of Joël Lehtonen, the music of Armas Launis and, more recently, a film by Heikki Huttu Hiltonen, are among the major artistic traces of the Finns in our country.

An exhibition to discover!
