According to the Egyptian authorities, an investigation was opened to shed light on this incident of fire in the border area of Rafah and having made at least one dead, reports Al Jazeera.
For its part, the Israeli army said that it examines reports concerning fires between Israeli and Egyptian soldiers near the Rafah crossing, located on the border with Gaza.
The Israeli media, who reported the death of two Egyptian soldiers, revealed that Egyptian soldiers had opened fire on Israeli soldiers inside the Rafah border post, without being injured.
