JTC 2023: The Tanits race is launched!

The theatrical days of Carthage will be held from December 2 to 10. A selection of 62 shows from 28 countries around the world is on the program for this edition, which will take place without the festive side due to the war against the Gaza Strip.

The official competition of the 24th edition of the JTC is made up of 11 shows produced by Tunisian, Arab and African professional theatrical structures.

A selection of 62 shows from 28 countries around the world is on the program of this edition in various cultural spaces in Tunis. The shows are divided between 16 sections including conferences, workshops, JTC, paths, screening, expo and cap.

Escape from repentance (Abdelwahed Mabrouk): Center for dramatic and scenic arts of Tozeur (Tunisia)
Land of Demence (Houssine Mokhtar): the Ben Hnia Mahfouh regional theater (Algeria)
Mute (Sulayman Al Bassam): Sabab Production (Kuwait)
Antigone (Hakim Harb): Al Rahala Theater (Jordan)
Chams (Amin Boudrika): Corp’Scène (Morocco)
Last verdict (Raoudha Cherif): General Organization of Cultural Palaces Cultural Palace Al Giza (Egypt)
Voyage (Meher Salibi): Sima Performing Arts (Syria)
Good Man’s Song (Mohannad Karim): Dibba al Hisn Theater (United Arab Emirates)
Hope (Jaouad Assadi): national theater troop (Iraq)
220 housing units – Ivorian historical fresco (Sow Souleymane): the cultural factory (Ivory Coast)
