New action Back to Palestine on June 5

(Beirut, Lebanon) – Webdo met Palestinian activists from the “Return to Palestine” movement (return to Palestine), organizer of the May 15 demonstration.

Recall that that day, the Israeli soldiers had opened fire on unarmed civilians, killing 11 people and injuring at least 112 others, according to the Daily Star.

Palestinian activists in the “Return to Palestine” movement do not give up. They even plan a sequel to the May 15 demonstration. The next one should take place on June 5, still on the borders, south of Lebanon.

Several actions are being developed and should be monthly … The activists have told us about peaceful demonstrations by Palestinians, Lebanese and others of nationalities cohabiting in Lebanon. On the other hand, coordination with other neighboring countries is planned.

The activists told us that they could mobilize the necessary workforce for each of these actions, according to their objectives: thousands, tens of thousands and even hundreds of thousands of people.

As for technologies, they told us that they have mastered communication and social networking tools. They have several Facebook pages coordinated between them in Lebanon, Palestine and Jordan.

On Twitter, they will continue to use the hashtag (keyword) #May15 for the next actions. They also have a blog at Returntopalestine.blogspot.com.

Recall that on May 15, 98 % of the lifted flags were those of Palestine. According to activists, it is a clear signal of unification of the Palestinian people, blood or heart, under a single banner, that of return to land.
