The list of the 24th edition of the theatrical days of Carthage was unveiled during a ceremony organized, in the evening of Sunday, December 10, at the Théâtre de l’Opéra (Cité de la Culture).
“Mute” by Kuwaiti Slimane Bassem won the Grand Prix for this edition. The play also won two other prices in the official competition: the price of the best dramaturgy and the price of the best female interpretation which has become Syrian Hala Omrane.
The Silver Tanit was awarded to the Moroccan Amine Boudrigua for his play “Chams”.
And the bronze tanit returned to the Tunisian Ghazai Zoghbani for his play “La Ferme”, which also won the price of the best dramaturgy and the price of the best male interpretation.
11 pieces produced by Tunisian, Arab and African theatrical structures were in the running for the Tanit d’Or.
A selection of 62 shows from 28 countries was on the program for this edition, which took place from December 2 to 10, without the festive side due to the war against the Gaza Strip.

Special mention to “Rouheb” by Mouaied Ghazouani and “dog dinner” by Youssef Mars.
– Liberty Prize for the best creation of a theater club for penitentiary and rehabilitation establishments:
1st price: Borj prison amri with the play “Voyage”
2nd Prize: Mahdia prison with the play “La Mtallak la Maâllak”
3rd prize: Messadine Sousse prison with the play “Cherka Terka”
