A tank cheat network using electronic technologies has been dismantled in Sousse. Six individuals, including a teacher from a private high school, are currently in police custody.
Six people involved in a cheating case on the baccalaureate examination were placed in police custody in Sousse, including a teacher from a private secondary establishment.
The information was confirmed Tuesday by the spokesperson of the Sousse 1 Court of First Instance, Wissem Chérif, who indicated, in a declaration to the TAP agency, that the suspects were arrested in the act, while they proposed for remuneration for assistance to candidates for examination, using concealed electronic devices: flea, flea, headphones and smartphones.
According to Chérif, the survey was opened on public prosecutor’s investigation, after the National Guard of Sousse obtained reliable information on the activities of a network specializing in the supply of electronic equipment for cheating.
On June 3, four people had already been arrested in a house in Sousse. During the search, the police had seized suspicious electronic devices, several mobile phones and a quantity of cannabis. These individuals were also placed in police custody, as part of a judicial inquiry aimed at identifying possible accomplices.
