It was yesterday that the curtain closed on the Cinegouna Film Festival 2023 in an atmosphere of celebration of the talents of young filmmakers. This ceremony was marked by the recognition of exceptional talents and the generous price award.
Closing ceremony: a hymn to cinematographic excellence
The closing ceremony, organized under the majestic arches of the Hub festival, brought together not only the faces that light up the silver screen, but also the dream architects that transform spectacular stories into reality. A colossal sum of more than $ 380,000 has been awarded to finance, support and give life to films that will inspire, cause change and shape the stories of the region for years to come.
Tunisian winners:
Among the stars that shone with brilliance, three Tunisian directors particularly captivated the attention of the public and the jury, winning important prices:
1. Hinde Boujemaa – ” Yammi“” : Honored triple, Hinde Boujemaa received a $ 10,000 award from Arab Radio and Television (ART), another $ 5,000 from Hwadi and a third $ 10,000 Ambient Light. His work, Yammiknew how to touch hearts and was rewarded up to its impact.
2. Amel Guellaty – ” Tunis-Djerba“” : Amel Guellaty won a cash prize of $ 10,000, offered by O West and a post-production aid worth $ 10,000 in Ambient Light, for his film project Tunis-Djerba. One more step towards the realization of his artistic vision.
3. Moufida Fedhila – ” Girl of Wind “: The director was won a price of $ 50,000 in MG (minimum guaranteed) for sales and the distribution of Mad Solutions. His film, Girl of Windconquered the jury and stood out among the exceptional works of the selection.
