The start -up of new trains connecting Tunis to Borj Cedria, scheduled for September 15, was postponed on a later date due to theft of equipment and materials necessary for the operation of these trains.
Indeed, 25 electric units, worth 5 thousand dinars each used for traffic lights, were stolen from their location, as well as a dozen kilometers of metal cables and wires.

It should be remembered that the Tunis-Borj Cedria line having 23.2 kilometers and supports 200 daily trips and 25 million travelers per year.
