Tunisia condemned in the strongest terms the loose assassination which targeted the leader of the political office of the Hamas movement, Ismaïl Haniyeh, in the Iranian capital, Tehran, reiterating its firm position on Palestinian law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians abroad declared in a statement that the assassination of a symbol of the Palestinian Resistance is a new manifestation of the Zionist movement approach, accustomed to assassinating any free voice calling for the release of Palestine all over the world.
The press release stressed that “this odious assassination is added to the long list of the bloody history of the infamous acts perpetrated by the Zionist occupation before and after the occupation of Palestine against many personalities who defended the Palestinian law, like, among others, the late Ghassan Kanafani, Wael Zwaiter, Mahmoud Hamshari, Kalak, Khaled Nazzal, Khalil Al-Wazir, Salah Khalaf, Cheikh Ahmed Yassine, Abdel Aziz al-Réti, Mohamed Zouari and others that we consider martyrs with God. »»
The press release considered that this loose assassination constitutes a blatant attack and a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the States and a contempt for all human and moral values as well as international conventions, faced with the inability of the international community to end the war of extermination and famine and to hold the Zionist occupant responsible for the daily violations of divine and terrestrial laws, as well as massacres against the Palestinian people and Crimes of all kinds and provocative expansionist policies.
