It is with relief that the Libyan people learned this morning the arrest of Seif El Islma Gaddafi in southern Libya, near Obari a locality located southwest of the Oasis of Sebha.
It should be remembered that Seil El Islam who had fled Tripoli with his father and brother Mouatassim to take refuge in Syrte, is the subject of an international arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC), for crimes against humanity.
According to a source from a military official of the National Transitional Council (CNT), Seif El Islam would have proposed a few weeks ago to go to the ICC with Abdallah Senoussi, the former information director of the fallen regime. The two men would have taken this initiative because their security was no longer assured neither on Libyan territory nor in Algeria or in Niger who, according to a certain source, would have asked
