The National Cereal Office (ONC) officially launched an international call for tenders for the acquisition of 75,000 tonnes of tender wheat, according to information relayed by European sources and taken over by Reuters.
The offers must be submitted before June 13. The quantity requested is 75,000 tonnes, divided into three lots of 25,000 tonnes each.
According to European traders, the most competitive offer is owned by Cargill, at $ 262.91 per tonne C&T, for a batch of 25,000 tonnes. Cargill would also have submitted a second offer to $ 263.91 for the same quantity
The offers collected will be examined after the deadline of June 13. The final contract will not always be awarded to the lowest price: quality, reliability of delivery times and logistical conditions will be essential criteria in the choice of supplier.
