Claude Guéant, the current French Minister of the Interior has just taken a position which ostensibly apparently at the ideas of the National Front. We remember the declaration of Marine Le Pen, two weeks ago, on the halal meat which caused a lot of ink to flow.
Today, for electoral reasons or by conviction, Claude Guéant does not hide his hostility as to the extent of halal meat and therefore his reluctance towards immigrants.
He considers that granting voting to foreigners could lead to “compulsory meat compulsory in canteens meals”. It was during a meeting near the city of Nancy that the Minister of the Interior made these remarks before adding: “Accepting the vote of foreigners is the door open to communitarianism. We do not want municipal councilors (…) to regulate the swimming pools against the principles of diversity. »»
Such declarations will certainly not fail to cause ink and to arouse controversy in an extremely tense atmosphere rendered by the mutuals virulent attacks of the two main presidential candidates, Nicolas Sarkozy and François Hollande.
