As of this Monday, June 16, 2025, 64,065 students start the entrance exam to the pilot colleges. These candidates come from the 213,508 students enrolled in the sixth year from basic education.

The competition takes place over three days. On the first day, students pass the Arabic and English tests. The next day, they continue with French and scientific awakening. Finally, the third day is devoted to mathematics.

Compared to last year, the number of candidates progresses clearly. Indeed, there are 5,113 pupils more than in 2024.

The distribution by genre shows a slight majority of girls. They represent 55 % of candidates, or 35,127 students. For their part, boys are 28,938, or 45 %.

Students compete 3,850 places in pilot colleges. The Ministry of Education set this figure in a decision published on May 12, 2025.

To guarantee a smooth running, the ministry mobilized 302 test centers. He also planned 27 deposit centers, a center for Braille and 8 correction centers.

In parallel, several adaptation measures have been taken. Twelve students will receive large subjects in large print. In addition, fifty-four candidates will benefit from a third party of additional time. Some subjects will also be available in Braille.

The results will fall on Sunday July 4.

Then, students from the general and technical basic cycle will take their national exam. These events will start on Thursday June 19 and end on Saturday June 21. The results will be announced on Monday, July 7.
