This Tunisian novel by Marie Nimier brings together the confidences of unknown crosses randomly from paths and conversations.
It is “a former prisoner, a bisexual forced to disguise his feelings, a” tow truck “offering to future brides a cheap technique to restore their virginity, a woman whose life has been upset by her readings, those who want to leave and cannot leave, those who left and then returned, those who pray in their own way, but also a beekeeper who sells the chain.
These are some of the characters who confided in the author, to reveal their best kept secrets to her. In turn funny and poignant, these tales full of humanity are an infinite source of reverie and reflection, and an invitation to sharing. ”
