After a period of heat, encouraging signs of a change of time looming on the horizon. According to Sarhane Rahali, an engineer at the National Institute of Meteorology, this week could mark a turning point, with the arrival of more favorable conditions.
He indicated, this Monday, June 16 on the waves of Mosaic FM that the first improvements will be noticeable on Tuesday, with a switch of the winds to the northern sector. This change should promote a decline in temperatures, especially on the heights and in the coastal regions of the North. Storms could also be formed in the afternoon.
On Wednesday, the sky will be partially covered with possible showers at the end of the day, accompanied by a slight drop in mercury. Thursday, the situation will become more unstable: localized thunderstorms are expected, with rains and, in places, hailstorms.
These developments suggest a welcome respite after several weeks of intense heat, while Tunisia faces a tight water situation.
