Three Tunisian films projects among fourteen projects, were selected at the 10th edition of the MAFF Industry Industry Days (MAFF Industry Days – MID) organized as part of the Arab film festival in Malmö, in Sweden.
These three projects are “Tkallem” by Nejib Kthiri. A project, which will be co-produced between Tunisia, the United Kingdom and Sweden, by Ian Henry and Afef Ben Mahmoud and Sean Wheelan.
Then, the two fictions, “My Mother’s Glasses” by Moncef Dhouib, as director and producer, and “Wear and Tear” by Sarra Abidi, to realization and Ibsissem Labidi in production.
The days of the MAFF industry are scheduled from April 23 to 26, 2024 on the sidelines of the Arab film festival in Malmö (MAFF) which will take place from April 22 to 28 in Malmö.
The selected film projects were chosen from 38 applications from 16 countries. They contribute in three categories, namely the feature and short films in the development phase and post-production projects.
Cash prizes and nature awards will be awarded to the winners during this 10th MID edition. The MID grant program aims to strengthen exceptional cinematographic initiatives and encourage collaborations between Sweden and Arab countries.
