The Dream City festival travels to Brussels for an exceptional edition which will take place from April 4 to 13, in the Belgian capital.
Dream City deploys its wings and organizes a special edition which will take place in Brussels, from April 4 to 13.
It is a great achievement for the Dream City team who are not happy to demonstrate that a Tunisian initiative can travel, also affirms the presence of Tunisian artists in Belgium, in the heart of Europe.
It is the cultural space “Kanal-Center Pompidou” which will host the first Brussels edition of the Tunisian Festival Dream City, with the participation of many Tunisian and foreign artists.
Let us quote for example the presence of the actress Jalila Baccar and several other Tunisian artists like Bouchra Khalil, Malek Gnaoui and Ismaël Bahri (Video art) or Mouna Karray (photo) and Radouan Mriziga (Dance).
Created by the artists choreographers Selma and Sofiane Ouissi in 2007, Dream City is an independent and interdisciplinary festival which is held every two years in the medina of Tunis.
Artistic crossroads between the Arab world, Africa and Europe, Dream City tackles topical themes such as tolerance, migration, emancipation, human rights and climate emergency.
On the program of this Belgian edition, artistic performances and a meeting-debate which will be led by thinkers and activists from Tunis and Brussels.
