During a patrol in the Jebel Chaâmbi area, the national army was faced, in the evening of this Tuesday, August 19, with terrorist elements.
An exchange of fire followed and a soldier was slightly injured, the spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant-Colonel Belhassen Oueslati, told the TAP agency.
It was the armed forces that opened fire against the terrorists hunted and intercepted, according to the spokesperson, adding that the operation made a light injured on the side of the national army.
