Thunderstorms accompanied by intense rains are expected from the evening of this Wednesday, June 18, 2025, and should continue throughout Thursday, June 19, according to the last weather forecast.
The northern and center regions will be the most affected by these disturbances. Precipitation could reach significant levels, with estimated cumulation between 20 and 40 mm, especially in the Northeast, the Sahel and in the governorate of Kairouan. Isolated hail showers are not to be ruled out.
These stormy episodes will also be accompanied by sustained gusts of wind, up to 70 km/h at times. A relative drop in temperatures is also expected in affected areas.
The authorities call for vigilance, especially in areas at risk of flooding or exposed to violent winds.
