After winning five places in the FIFA ranking last month, Tunisia lost eleven places in the updated ranking this Thursday, October 24, 2024 and is now in the 47th world position.
Bad news for the Carthage Eagles which still lose points in the FIFA ranking. After its tumble last February, from the 28th to 41st position, the national selection has long been fixed at this 41st place on a global scale and the 6th on a continental scale.
Last month, the Carthage Eagles climbed to 36th position but it was a short respite. Today, the fall is dizzying. Tunisia loses eleven positions in the FIFA ranking and is found in 47th place because of its services in qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations 2025.
She also leaves the African top 5 remaining behind Morocco (13th), Senegal (20th), Egypt (30th), Nigeria (36th), Algeria (37th) and Côte d’Ivoire (40th).
The FIFA ranking is still dominated by Argentina (1st), France arriving in 2nd position in front of Spain, England and Brazil.
