The President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, reaffirmed, Wednesday, June 18 at the Palais de Carthage, the fundamental principles of Tunisian diplomacy, based on the independence of national decisions and the diversification of strategic partnerships.
During his interview with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, the Head of State stressed that the fight for the national liberation carried out within the country must be supported by a sustained diplomatic action on an international level.
According to a press release from the presidency, Kaïs Saïed called on Tunisian diplomatic representations to redouble their efforts to defend the interests of Tunisia abroad. He also insisted on the role of consulates, which must offer Tunisians residing abroad the services required in the best possible conditions.
