The Sousse coast guards made an abortion, on Saturday October 18 in Chott Mariem, an attempted illegal emigration to Italy of a group of 46 Syrians, the TAP agency reported.
According to a security source, these people were arrested in a house in Chott Mariem while they were preparing to emigrate illegally to the Italian coast.
The investigation continues to reveal how these people entered Tunisia and the identity of the organizers of this clandestine maritime crossing, added the same source.
