At least ten people were killed this Saturday in southeast Iran during a “terrorist attack” in an area of tensions in Sistan-Baloutchistan, a border region of Pakistan and Afghanistan, local media reported.
“Ten individuals were killed during a terrorist act committed in Taftan County against police cars,” said local agencies Mehr and Tasnim, without specifying the operating mode of attackers.
No group has immediately claimed this attack on some 1,200 kilometers south-east of the capital Tehran.
