Alcohol -free beer sales soar and especially in Germany where it is more and more popular. The Germans being large beer drinkers, the “alcohol -free” niche has however been able to impose itself to the point of seriously “threatening” classic beer.
This new trend or this “boom” as described by the DBB federation remains criticizable, in particular on the part, the German Federation of Consumers VZBZ which reveals that even alcohol -free beers contain.
“The beers stamped without alcohol still contain a small remaining alcohol, a state of fact long criticized by the Federation which obtained that as soon as next year the brewers have committed to include on the labels the mention” Alcohol levels less than 0.5% “on the bottles concerned, reports Le Figaro.
This is enough to cool the Muslims of Germany keen on beer … without alcohol!
Note that in 2013, the “halal” beer consumption increased (+12%) with 4.8 million hectoliters of alcohol -free beer. A continuous increase since 2008 while the total consumption of beer from the Germans has been declining for more than seven years.
