The International Tunis Book Fair inaugurated by Kais Saied

The 38th edition of the International Book Fair of Tunis (Filt) started this Friday, April 19, 2024 on Friday. It was inaugurated by the President of the Kais Saied Republic who went to the Kram Exhibition Palace.

The 38th edition of the International Book Fair of Tunis started this Friday, April 19, 2024. Standing the Kram exhibitions Palace, it will be held until April 28, 2024, and will see the participation of 25 countries.

The 2024 edition was placed under the aegis of solidarity with the Palestinian people, moreover, Italy is the guest of honor.

Postponed initially by the National Establishment for the Promotion of Festivals and Cultural and Artistic events, under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, without providing details as to the reasons, it is on the orders of President Kais Saied, that the fair was maintained.

The Head of State also attended, today, at the opening of the Filt, which includes 314 exhibition stands, including 154 from Tunisia and 160 foreign exhibitors and nearly 110 thousand titles.
