Several regions of the country have experienced, during the last hours, precipitation of variable quantities, as part of the current weather disturbances since Wednesday.

According to data collected until 4 p.m. Thursday, the strongest rains were recorded in El Mourouj with 42 mm, followed by Tinja (37 mm) and Menzel Bourguiba (33 mm). Other regions have also been well watered: 30 mm were noted east of Tunis, 27 mm at La Goulette and 22 mm at Hammam Lif.

This precipitation is part of a stormy episode which, according to forecasts from the National Institute of Meteorology (INM), is expected to continue in the coming hours. The meteorological bulletin published this Thursday announces the persistence of an unstable time, especially in the regions of the east of the North and the Center, where locally strong thunderstorms accompanied by strong showers and hailstorms could occur.

The winds will blow from the north to the north of the country and from the East in the center and to the south, with relatively strong gusts, even locally intense in the Saharan areas, which can cause whirlpools of sand. Elsewhere, the winds will be low to moderate.

Temperatures will vary between 17 and 21 ° C on the north and the heights, between 23 and 27 ° C in the other regions, up to 32 ° C in the southwest.
