The Tunisian national beach rowing teams won the second edition of the African discipline African championship (all categories) by winning 6 gold medals and two silver, after the last day disputed yesterday in Al Alamein, in Egypt.
The gold medals were the work of Yosr Hedhli (Individual Juniors), Mohamed Rayane Hafsa (Individual U23), Héni Sbaitia (individual senior), Khedija Krimi (individual senior), Yosri Hedhli (individual juniors), the Quartuor Héni Sbaitia, Sarra Zammali, Khedija Krimi and Salma Dhaouadi (four of mixed couple), Yosri Hedhli (individual juniors) and the team made up of Iheb Aouane, Yosr Hedhli, Yoldez Othmani, Yosri Hedhli and Salma Dhaouadi (mixed juniors).
The second place returned to Egypt with three gold medals and four silver medals while Algeria ranked third with three silver medals and three other bronze, reports the TAP agency.
During this game the rowers of the Tabarka fishing school were particularly distinguished with four gold medals.
