Tunisia won its ticket for the African Cup of Nations 2025, scheduled in Morocco, by beating Madagascar 3-2 on the fifth day of the playoffs.
This success, acquired in the last moments of the meeting, guarantees the Tunisian selection its place among the participants of the final phase, a feat that marks their 22nd qualification for this prestigious competition.
Hamza Rafia opened the scoring in the 6th minute, but Madagascar equalized following a against his Memmiche camp (20th). Seifallah Latif gave the advantage to Tunisians before the break (39th), before Amada equalized for Madagascar in the game stops (45+4th).
In the second half, Ali Abdi offered the victory to Tunisia in the last seconds of the match (90+3rd), consolidating the Place des Eagles de Carthage at the head of the group with 10 points, and ensuring their qualification for the next African Cup which will take place in Morocco.
