8.57% increase in beer turnover

The activity indicators of the Tunisian drink manufacturing company “SFBT” concerning the 2nd quarter of 2014 recorded a significant increase in local beer turnover.

Local beer turnover increased from 48.318 MD to 52,460 MD or an increase 8.57%, while export beer turnover increased from 2.535 MD to 1.287 MD, a decrease of 49.23%.

The SFBT recorded an increase of 5.52% of its local turnover of carbonated drinks which increased from 40,307 MD to 42.530 MD while the turnover of carbonated export drinks increased from 10.072 MD to 9.302 MD, a decrease of 7.64%.

Regarding the production of carbonated drinks, it fell by 6.18%, during the same period while beer production increased by 3.04%, said the TAP agency.

Export alcohol -free beer sales have accused a 46.76% decrease in the Mévente on the Libyan market, according to the analysis of the Branda Capital Partners.
