The Ministry of Health has renewed its call to resident doctors so that they can choose their assignment centers, in order to preserve their academic journey and guarantee the continuity of the public health service.
He clarified that the centers selection operation will take place at the Institut Higher Nurses in Tunis, from 8:30 am, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 23, 24 and 25, 2025.
The ministry stressed that this press release is the place of official convocation for resident doctors who have not yet chosen their center.
He also expressed his understanding of the claims of young doctors, saying that he had responded favorably to the majority of them. Among these measures: the increase in the civil service bonus to 2,000 dinars per month, the guarantee of social security coverage throughout the civil service, the payment of childcare premiums by all health structures, as well as the reduction of payment periods. Internal hospitals are also called upon to provide accommodation for residents.
The ministry also indicated that coordination with the deans of the faculties of medicine has resolved the problems linked to the validation of internships, and to open 100 positions in favor of former internal in order to lighten the pressure on hospital services.
Regarding the increase in wages, the ministry said that this claim has been integrated into a global structural reform aimed at guaranteeing equity between all professionals in the health sector.
