Tunisia – BAC 2025: 37.08 % success in the main session

The Ministry of Education announced on Saturday that the success rate at the main 2025 baccalaureate session amounts to 37.08 %either 53,721 admitted candidates on a total of 151,779 present.

According to official figures, 46,282 candidates were adjourned (37.95 %) and 44 213 have been refused (30.52 %).

Results by section

Success rates vary strongly depending on the sectors:

• Mathematics
Candidates: 8,224
Admitted: 5 980
Adjourned: 1,391
Refused: 609
Success rate: 74.93 %

• Experimental sciences
Candidates: 30,481
Admitted: 13 331
Adjourned: 8,328
Refused: 7,343
Success rate: 45.83 %

• Computer science
Candidates: 14,593
Admitted: 6,843
Adjourned: 4,271
Refused: 3,479
Success rate: 48.47 %

• Technical sciences
Candidates: 20,453
Admitted: 6 885
Adjourned: 7,097
Refused: 6,471
Success rate: 35.02 %

• Economy and management
Candidates: 49,225
Admitted: 13,584
Adjourned: 13,611
Refused: 22,030
Success rate: 28.95 %

• Letters
Candidates: 27,079
Admitted: 5,844
Adjourned: 11 116
Refused: 10,119
Success rate: 23.02 %

• Sport
Candidates: 1,724
Admitted: 1 254
Adjourned: 418
Refused: 52
Success rate: 73.33 %

Comparison with previous years

In 2024, the success rate in the main session amounted to 42.20 %against 36.38 % in 2023. The 2025 session thus marks a decline of more than five points compared to the previous year.
