A traveling exhibition dedicated to the city of Hammam-Lif is currently visible at the French Institute in Tunis and will be presented in several public spaces until October.

The French Institute of Tunisia organizes, in partnership with the French Institute in Paris, the City of Hammam-Lif and the National School of Architecture and Town Planning in Tunis, an exhibition around the city of Hammam-Lif, former seaside town, located in the southern suburbs of Tunis.

This exhibition is built from the work of the Tunisian architect, urban planner and historian, Leïla Ammar.
It highlights the landscapes of this city with a past chandelier, which is now encountered in multiple challenges in terms of town planning and rehabilitation of its architectural heritage.

The exhibition will be itinerant and will be held successively from May 3 to 16 in the IFT gallery (from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. except Sunday), then from May 23 to June 28 at the National School of Architecture and Urban Planning (ENAU).

Finally, the exhibition will be presented from June 30 to October 15 at the municipality of Hammam-Lif and from October 15 in schools, colleges and high schools of Hammam-Lif.

Note also that a workshop bringing together French and Tunisian architects and urban planners will also be organized as part of the exhibition. He invites us to think about the ways to improve the status of hammam-lif, his image and the living conditions of its inhabitants, with a focus on the issues linked to climate change.
