The head of government, Habib Essid, announced, on Wednesday, June 10, the change of governor of the Kebili region.
In a statement published on the Facebook page of the Ministry of the Interior and on the Government Presidency, Habib Essid decided to appoint Hachem HMIDI as a new governor of Kebili, thereby replacing Amara Tijani.
Kebili’s current situation remains mixed. Indeed in the evening of Wednesday, June 10, the National Guard units dispersed young people, using tear gas, in Douz.
Recall that the tensions that have broken out, last for a few weeks already, following the clashes which took place at the end of May between the inhabitants of Jemna and Galâa and those between demonstrators and the security forces.
