The “3alli Soutek” event, launched by the Wasabi organization, in partnership with the Sawty and Wes association, and aimed at engaging young people in their region, visited the cities of Gafsa, Sidi Bouzid and Kairouan during a first tour of May 30 until June 14.

On this occasion, young people from the cities of Gafsa, Sidi Bouzid and Kairouan have noted together and for each region three major problems to improve in order to allow their respective region to develop.

At the end of the two days of exchanges and dialogues, a problem common to the three regions was noted: unemployment. Indeed, the unemployment rate still seems high for young people as well as Tunisian inhabitants.
Young people offer their solutions to combat unemployment
In Gafsa, young people want employment opportunities to develop in various fields, other than the energy sector which is already highlighted in the region.

The young people of Sidi Bouzid suggest that they combat unemployment through social entrepreneurship which could allow employment of employment in rural areas.

In the Kairouan region, young people planned to leave the region and even the country to have the opportunity to go to work either in another city or abroad. However, some do not want to abandon their region and want to fight to improve it, by proposing to create job opportunities.

In order to have the opportunity to carry out their projects, two young people from each region are selected in order to be heard and represent their region with the Tunisian government.

Recall that the second tour, on the other hand, will start in Bizerte on July 25 and 26.
