Together for access to culture with Cinematdour

Tunisie Telecom, a long -standing partner of Gabes Cinéma Fé, is associated with the Cinematdour initiative to promote cinematographic culture in inaccessible places.

Tunisie Telecom, a faithful partner of the Gabes Cinéma Fé festival for five years, is once again committed alongside this flagship cultural event. This year, Gabes Cinéma Fen innovates with an unprecedented cinematographic experience in Tunisia and even on the whole African continent and in the Arab world: the Cinebus “Cinematdour”.

This innovative concept consists of an itinerant cinema room, fitted out on a bus equipped with 100 places, offering a diverse programming highlighting a selection of films intended for young audiences, but not only.

Tunisie Telecom has chosen to support this remarkable initiative which aims to democratize access to culture and art, in particular in areas where film infrastructures are lacking. In collaboration with schools, this initiative made it possible to organize a daily program for the festival duration, offering children an enriching and entertaining cinematographic experience.

This commitment was also a privileged opportunity to cultivate the taste for cinema from an early age, thus contributing to the cultural development of children.

Each morning, the program offered five projections of Tunisian and foreign films, offering young spectators, for certain novices in the matter, a first immersion in the captivating universe of the dark room. This initiative was particularly appreciated by the students of schools in the region, notably from Ghannouch Nord and Takapes, who had the opportunity to discover this magical and unprecedented experience.
