Tunisia officially joined the world alliance against hunger and poverty, launched on November 18, when the G20 summit was opened in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on the initiative of the Brazilian president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

“The initiative comes to concretize the vision of the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed who calls for building a new history of humanity based on justice, solidarity and equality between peoples and nations,” added the press release.
