Abdelwaheb Meddeb, Tunisian intellectual who animated every Friday, the program “Culture of Islam” on France Culture, died this Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the age of 68.
Writer and poet, he has had several literary prizes.
François-Mauriac Prize for Islam disease (2002)
Max-Jacob Prize for its collection of poems of birds (2002)
Benjamin-Fondane Prize for counter-pre-pricing (2007)
Arab cultural capital price for all of his work, which he shares with Édouard Glissant
