An interview took place Monday, June 23, 2025 between the Minister of Health, Mustapha Ferjani, and his Egyptian counterpart, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, also vice-president of the Council of Ministers. The meeting was held as part of the strengthening of relations between Tunisia and Egypt.
This meeting is a continuation of the orientations of the presidents Kaïs Saïed and Abdel Fattah al-Sissi. The objective was to develop cooperation in several priority areas related to health.
The discussions focused on the pharmaceutical industry, medical tourism and rehabilitation care. The two parties also mentioned the sharing of experiences and technical and scientific collaboration.
The ministers expressed their will to translate the solid relations between their countries into concrete action. They highlighted the importance of improving health services and guaranteeing better access to care.
