Three people died this Saturday, February 14, in a fire that started in a mattress manufacturing workshop in Djerba Midoun, announced a press release from the Interior Ministry published on its Facebook page.
According to this press release, the fire broke out at 9:00 am this Saturday in the workshop with an area of 100 m2 and four people who worked in this workshop were surrounded by fire.
They were able to be out of the workshop after the intervention of the civil protection units and were transferred to the hospital after receiving first aid. Unfortunately, three of them died.
The Ministry of the Interior also indicates that the fire in question has been mastered and that its propagation stopped. Research is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire.
