A telluric shock of a magnitude of 3.4 degrees on the Richter scale, was recorded on Wednesday January 25, 2023, at 10 p.m. 52 minutes northeast of the city of Chebba (Mahdia governorate).
According to preliminary analyzes of the National Institute of Meteorology (INM), the epicenter of the shock is 35.33 degrees of latitude and 11.35 degrees of longitude.
