Riadh Chaoued, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, chaired, yesterday, at the headquarters of his ministry yesterday, an information day devoted to the announcement of the launch of the training in the business of life, at the level of the professional technician certificate (BTP), in public and private establishments of vocational training.
The event took place in the presence of partners representing the ministries of health, social affairs, family, women, childhood and seniors, the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Crafts (UTICA), the National Chamber of Private Vocational Training Structures, the SwissContact Bureau as part of Tuniso-Suisse cooperation, as well as many executives of the ministry and under telle structures.
The Minister stressed that the launch of a new training specialty constitutes an additional achievement for the vocational training sector, with the objectives of devoting the social role of the State, developing the vocational training sector more, diversifying the offer of vocational training according to the needs of the labor market, both national and international, organize training in local professions and fight against forms of informal training in this area.
This training targets all social categories with special needs, such as the elderly, chronic patients, children with autism, or even people with disabilities. As with other specialties, training in “accompanying life” has a theoretical and practical part, and can be exempted alternately with health structures, such as hospitals or establishments for taking care of the elderly.
The National Training and Training Engineering Training Center (CNAFIF) was responsible for developing the training program, in coordination with the regional employment and vocational training departments concerned, to make it available to training establishments and finalize all the approval procedures.
The Minister has also highlighted the level of Tuniso-Suisse cooperation, in particular in the implementation of the various components of the ministry’s action program in terms of vocational training, in particular certifying and specialized training in the promising, innovative, high added and high employability sectors, deployed in many vocational training centers through the regions.
